Pediatric & Adult Ventilator
Expanding the horizon into adult clinical care.
The High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) technology perfected in neonatal care now enters a broader medical field.
The Science of HFOV
High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV) is an advanced respiratory management strategy that delivers ultra-low tidal volumes—often smaller than anatomical dead space—at extremely high frequencies. Long established in neonatal intensive care, this ventilation modality offers crucial clinical advantages:
Minimizes Lung Injury: Delivers minimal airway pressure fluctuations to significantly mitigate ventilator-induced lung injury (VILI).
Hemodynamic Stability: Suppresses respiratory-induced variations in blood pressure and intracranial pressure (ICP).
Key Features & Innovation
Rotary-Driven HFOV
The heart of the R100’s capacity for high-volume, high-capacity HFOV lies in its proprietary rotary valve technology. This specialized valve enables ultra-high-speed switching of the flow and pressure generated by the internal blower. The valve surface is coated with a premium Teflon sheet, ensuring exceptional durability and superior resistance to foreign particulate matter.

Intuitive and easy-to-understand HFOV settingIntuitive, Visual HFOV Titration
When operating in HFOV mode, the integrated graphic monitor displays real-time Amplitude values and pressure fluctuations at a glance, ensuring safe and precise respiratory management. HFOV settings are finely adjusted using a straightforward combination of four core parameters:
HFOV settings can be adjusted by combining the settings for “mean airway pressure,” “stroke volume,” “frequency,” and “inspired oxygen concentration.”
Mean Airway Pressure (MAP)
Stroke Volume (SV)
Frequency (Hz)
Fraction of Inspired Oxygen (FiO2)

Comprehensive Support: From HFOV to Weaning
The R100 is far more than a standalone oscillator; it comes equipped with a full suite of essential conventional ventilation modes. By pairing baseline modes with ventilation styles like VCV, PCV, and PSV, the system provides seamless clinical continuity from acute HFOV therapy all the way to successful weaning. Flexible Triggering Options: Clinicians can select between Pressure or Flow triggering. Highly Responsive: Combined with an automated base flow, the system delivers a lightning-fast response to even the weakest spontaneous respiratory efforts.
One-Touch Mode Selection
Switching between primary ventilation modes is achieved instantaneously via a centralized selector switch.

Advanced Clinical Support & Design
Manual Sigh Function
Features a dedicated manual sigh mechanism available during HFOV mode. By holding down the “Manual Breath” button, clinicians can apply a sustained recruitment maneuver tailored to the patient, up to a maximum duration of 10 seconds.
High-Performance Inspiratory & Expiratory Valves
Engineered with premium, ultra-responsive valves, the R100 ensures high-speed, exceptionally precise flow control across all ventilation modalities.
The system instantaneously interprets and adapts to the patient’s expiratory demand, dramatically optimizing synchrony.
Safety-First Engineering
Cartridge-Style Diaphragm:
The diaphragm that converts rotary valve pressure into physical oscillations features a detachable cartridge system. Housed under a clear dome, it offers excellent visibility for effortless maintenance.

Blower Intake Filter:
During HFOV, the internal blower continuously generates massive flow volumes at high speeds. A heavy-duty intake filter prevents ambient dust and airborne contaminants from entering the system. The filter is easily replaceable.
Expiratory Filter System:
Integrated directly into the expiratory circuit, this system dries exhaled gases and filters out microbial contaminants prior to exhaust, actively contributing to hospital infection control protocols.
Automated Smart Alarms:
To prevent human error and misconfiguration, airway pressure alarms automatically calculate and set boundaries based on real-time measured values whenever ventilation parameters are modified. Alarm limits can still be manually adjusted at any time.
Advanced Graphic Monitoring:
Equipped with a dedicated graphical display, the R100 allows for real-time tracking and evaluation—ranging from deep pressure analysis during HFOV to full waveform analysis during conventional ventilation.
