Humming Vue

Humming Vue
Ventilator Current Product Line
Piston HFO/IMV
Neonatal and pediatric ventilators
Driven by the mission to save more lives.
Delivering seamless respiratory management from High-Frequency Oscillation (HFO) therapy all the way to post-extubation care.
The Metran HFO Advantage
User-Friendly, Exceptionally Powerful
Metran’s proprietary piston-driven HFO technology delivers overwhelming power that far surpasses alternative methods. It provides a proportional, linear adjustment of HFO Stroke Volume Vte, as shown in Figure 1.
Stroke Volume (SV) Settings: Configurable up to 160 mL (up to 106 mL at an oscillatory frequency of 15 Hz).

Evolution of Metran HFO
Enhanced Precision in SV Targeting:
By incorporating advanced stepping motor technology and sophisticated motor control algorithms, the system achieves highly precise, micro-level Stroke Volume control. Reconnection of the breathing circuit and transition back to HFO following a Sustained Inflation (SI) are now smoother and faster than ever.

Broader, Safer Operational Boundaries:
The device allows for flexible Amplitude settings while automatically adjusting the SV required to achieve the target Amplitude.
Once adjusted, SV is prioritized, allowing clinicians to monitor changes in lung compliance through real-time fluctuations in Amplitude and flow.
With appropriate amplitude and SV, safer ventilation initiation is possible, even when starting ventilation or changing breathing circuits.
Integrated Auto SI (Sustained Inflation):
Performs periodic lung recruitment maneuvers to effectively maintain optimal patient oxygenation.
SI time: OFF, 0.5 to 10 seconds (1 to 120 SI cycles/hour)
Comprehensive Conventional Ventilation Modes
The Humming Vue expands beyond HFO to offer significantly enhanced conventional ventilation capabilities.
With the addition of APRV and NV modes to our standard lineup, clinicians can confidently manage a wider spectrum of clinical cases.
Furthermore, the integration of Volume Assured (VA) ventilation firmly supports volume-targeted respiratory management.
Available Modes:
SIMV (Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation)
A/C (Assist/Control Ventilation)
CPAP (Continuous Positive Pressure)
APRV (Airway Pressure Release Ventilation) – Optional

VA (Volume Assured)
In addition to traditional VC (Volume Control) and PC (Pressure Control), the Humming Vue introduces Volume Assured (VA) ventilation—a pressure-regulated, volume-targeted mode.
This mode provides optimized respiratory support for clinical cases where precise CO2 management is the primary goal.

Sync+
Available during PC-SIMV, Sync+ supports all spontaneous breaths with Pressure Support (PS).
In the event of sudden apnea, the system does not wait for the standard apnea backup delay; instead, it immediately delivers mandatory breath support based on the preset respiratory rate cycle.
This provides highly flexible, responsive management for neonates who frequently exhibit irregular apnea patterns.

Advanced Non-Invasive Capabilities
To facilitate successful post-extubation management and mitigate the risks of re-intubation, the Humming Vue features a robust suite of non-invasive modes.
With comprehensive support for NIV, n-CPAP, and Nasal High Flow, this single, versatile workstation manages the entire continuum of respiratory care.
Advanced Monitoring & Display
Intuitive Color Touchscreen Interface
Featuring a large 15-inch touchscreen paired with a single central navigation knob, the interface dramatically enhances bedside visibility and ease of operation. Main monitoring parameters can be customized dynamically based on the active ventilation mode.

The main monitoring parameters can be arbitrarily selected for each ventilation mode.
Time-Linked Trend Graphs
Historical trend graphs are directly linked to measured clinical data.
Clinicians can simply touch any point in the patient history timeline to instantly recall and review the exact measurements from that specific moment.

Dual Loop Displays
Allows clinicians to select and display any two loops simultaneously from:
P/V (Pressure/Volume)
P/F (Pressure/Flow)
F/V (Flow/Volume)
